Not Your Average Seniors Week

We are excited to celebrate the inaugural Seniors Week on Sunday, August 21, through Thursday, August 25. Bring your family and friends and join us for FOUR EVENTS celebrating aging well in the Sunshine City. The celebration shines a light on senior citizens and brings awareness to the opportunities that are available to older adults in the St. Pete.

Azalea Park


Bring your family and friends for a day of fun and resources at Azalea Recreation Center and Park. Learn about wellness resources, services and programs available to you, while enjoying free activities and giveaways for all ages.

Taste of the Gardens

Enoch Davis Park


Learn about the process of garden to table through a cooking demonstration. Also, enjoy a peek of the center's garden and the neighboring Youth Farm.

Senior Games Showdown

Bay Vista Park


Get ready for some friendly, fun competition at Bay Vista Recreation Center's Senior Showdown! Bring your friends and enjoy board games, outdoor activities, goodies and more.

Senior Gala

St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club


Enjoy a night out with your partner and friends at the Sunshine Senior Center's semi-formal Senior Gala! Enjoy music, h'ordeuvres, signature mocktails, and more while learning about senior program and resource opportunities.
