TASCO teen sites have a dedicated full-time teen staff supervisor, free middle school camp, teen room, organized sports leagues, trips and activities specifically geared towards teens and promote positive youth leadership within our communities and throughout life.
TASCO offers professional dance lighting and DJ services for teens in grades 6-12.

If you are a middle school student looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day then we've got the event for YOU!
Valentine's Semi Formal DanceTASCO puts on semi formal at J.W. Cate Recreation Center 5801 22nd Ave North from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. TASCO hosts the best semi-formal event in the bay area. You will receive dinner, free giveaways, live performers, music videos, dance contests and much more. This annual sellout event is for teens in grades 6 through 9. Activities include: DJ playing all the latest hits, glitter tattoos, live entertainment on the main stage, large screen Wii competition for prizes, photo booth, video games, $100 best dressed contest for male and female and much more. Tickets are only $10 which includes dinner and are limited; get them fast at the TASCO office,1320 5th Street N., any St. Petersburg Recreation Center, or at the door, if available. The dress code is semi-formal, no shorts or jeans. Participant or Parent Information.
TASCO and S.W.A.T. (Students Working Against Tobacco) team up every year to pull off one of the biggest beach bashes around.
Spring break fun isn't over yet! On April 13, 2013 TASCO Teen Programs and S.W.A.T. (Students Working Against Tobacco) hosts our 14th annual S.W.A.T. Sandblast. This event is held at Treasure Island Municipal Beach, 11260 Treasure Island Blvd. Registration begins at 10 a.m. The event runs form 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to any teenager in grades 6-12. Teens can participate in our 4-on-4 volleyball tournament, bungee bounce, water joust, tug-of-war, flag football tournament, 2 twenty-five foot water slides, live dj, and you can win free prizes. Nightspiker Volleyball Tournament registration begins at 7 p.m. FREE Admission for teens in grades 6 through 12. Call 892-5060 for more information.

The 3rd annual Mayor’s Youth Showcase of Achievement will award 10 middle and 10 high school students.
Categories range from Academic Achievement to Overcoming Adversity to Performing Arts. The Deadline for completed nomination packet must be postmarked no later than May 3, 2013 at 5 p.m. The Showcase of Achievement Award Ceremony will be held on May 22, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at beautiful The Mahaffey Theater in Downtown St. Petersburg. Nominees will receive two free tickets to attend.

TASCO Field of Screams was voted #1 scare in Tampa Bay last year.
Participants experience complete darkness, loud noises, bright lights, wooded trails, and intense scare zones. Last year’s theme was “Quarantine”. This is the one event you WON’T want to miss! Stay tuned for next year's event. The event is held at Boyd Hill Environmental Study Grounds 2900 31st Street South. Times are dark until 12:00 a.m.
