St. Petersburg has several recreation and multipurpose centers throughout the city with a vast amount of classes, programs and services for youth, teens, adults and seniors based on their needs and abilities.

- Neighborhood pools now open for the summer. Find out more about summer pool hours here.
- Register for Swim Lessons this summer. Water safety is important for costal living. We offer swim lessons throughout the summer.
- Learn to Dive! Our Aquatics Division offers diving lessons at Fossil Park Pool and Northwest Pool for all ages. Five session available between June 3 and August 8. Sessions are two weeks long. Only $45 per session.
- Parks & Rec Connect
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve offers plenty of nature programs and activities for all to enjoy, including Lake Maggiore Island, the willow marsh, the swamp woodlands, the sand scrub trail, the Pioneer Settlement and the Environmental Studies Area that offers rentals.
Adult and Senior Centers
We have five centers - the Sunshine Senior Center, Bay Vista Recreation Center, Enoch Davis Recreation Center, Roberts Recreation Center and Azalea Recreation Center - with a focus in adult and senior programs. The Adult Centers are dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults by providing a place that they can socialize, learn together, and enhance their well-being through provided resources and support.
