Located at the southern tip of the downtown waterfront, Albert Whitted Park hosts a great spot to watch the sunset. The park is named after James Albert Whitted, who introduced the opportunity of flying to the city of St. Petersburg. The local airport, located next to the park, is also named after him.

The park includes a playground, covered picnic shelters and a walkway, making it a great place to enjoy the afternoon.
